seter is a closed, invite-only messaging app for a small circle. Everything is end-to-end encrypted — nothing is seen, nothing is stored. This page covers what data we process and our commitment to child safety.
seter does not collect or store: your real name, phone number, email address, contact list, message content, photos, voice messages, or files you send. All messages, photos, voice messages, and files are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they are sent — our servers cannot read them, and never store them permanently.
To operate the service, our servers process the minimum technical data required for message delivery:
Push notifications only ever say "New message" — they never contain any message content, sender name, or preview.
You can permanently delete your account and all local data at any time from within the app ("Delete seter" in settings). This is irreversible. Deleting your account also removes any pending encrypted data from our servers.
seter uses Supabase for backend infrastructure (encrypted message relay and minimal account data) and Apple/Google push notification services (to deliver the generic "New message" signal only). We do not use advertising services, analytics trackers, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
seter is not intended for use by children and is distributed only to a closed, invited group of adult users.

seter is not a public platform. Access is invite-only, limited to a small, known group of adults vetted personally by existing members. There is no public discovery, no open registration, and no mechanism for strangers to contact users.
If you encounter content or behavior on seter that concerns child safety, contact us immediately at: oskar@houseofoe.com
Reports are reviewed and, where required by law, referred to the relevant national and regional authorities (in Germany: Bundeskriminalamt / local law enforcement; see also the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, NCMEC, for international reporting: report.cybertip.org).
seter complies with all applicable laws regarding the protection of minors, including relevant provisions under German and EU law (including the EU Digital Services Act). Because seter uses end-to-end encryption, we cannot access message content — reports rely on users flagging concerning content or behavior directly to us via the contact above.
